WTF, what is this topic about?

Jimi Hendrix - the most evolutionary electric guitar player that ever lived!

Prince - a musical genious that is very underrated as a guitarplayer although not even near Hendrix when it comes to developing new sounds on the guitar etc...

Slash - a good rockguitarist that I enjoy listening to but he has nothing new up his sleeve and can play sloppy at times...

Lenny - Hey, I dig Lenny's music, he is great, but he is not more than a decent guitarplayer.

Now to my question, why do you use these four names as if they were synonyms?

If you want evolutionary electric guitarplayers maybe you should check out Allan Holdsworth

You need to check out my man Buckethead. He's got the P-Funk/Jimi roots in his playing but has the 21'st century nu-shred thing down and he's always creating new things and sounds on the guitar. I've been digging him for years. Funksters and metalheads dig him.

Jimi Hendrix; Complete genius! Greatest electric guitar player ever. He could also play the bass, piano and demo'd on drums.

Prince; my fav artist ever; greatest musician alive!

Slash; Phenomenal musician. I watched him play at the U.k music hall of fame and he was AMAZING!

Lenny; Arrogant, weird wannabe Prince. Talented though.

Slash is the essential hard rock guitar player when it comes to melodic sense. The licks in sweet child o mine alone makes him a genious. Let alone november rain, give into me, estranged and the likes. they guy can play pretty melodies like santana, and still has an agressive edge. So the man got to be respected. He is not better than Hendrix or Prince, but Prince and hendrix couldnt do better solos over Gusn n roses grooves than Slash. He fits perfectly for the band. But live he was sloppy lots of times. Too much drugs and drinks.

u r right...stevie ray vaughn did emerse hisself into the genious pool...i(oft-times) listen to him while riding on the freeways of california.....blasting loud...his rifts have truly been a "spheric gift" to the music gods...
carlos santana.....have you ever seen him play at night in an amphi-theatre....it's like he's connected to the stars..... the man plays from beyond his soul.
i will check out henry garza....thnx

they got genious from both sides of the human gene pool...(i'd luv to have a bracelet made from a copy of their DNA chain)
but no matter...the color....no matter the race....all of them are gifts to you and me in this current time and space.....
