I still think he looks fit in the vid for In The Closet. And that was '92.
Anyhoo, another unnecessary MJ thread.

We could pick several potential stopping points, starting from the very beginning of it all.

I think if u take out the 1998-2002 he's fine. He looked alright in "Living with MJ". The MSG 30th was his worst ever, he looked beyond repair there. I think he looked great during the trial (well except the last few weeks, but who could blame him). I think he looked his best during the Dangerous era and he looked fantastic during the Diane Sawyer interview in 1995!

I agree. This was the last time he looked remotely handsome and normal, IMO. Everything afterwards is/was absolutely grotesque... yes, including the "In The Closet" video, where he's whiter than a sheep off-camera and has those same squinted eyes + big-ass jaw that dominated the entire "Dangerous" era.

this was from the And I do not agree because that nose looks just as atrocious/unnatural as the noses that came after because no one's nose looks like that. In fact the only difference between this pic and now is: -white skin (which he can't control) -aging (which he can't control) -collapsed upper lip (which is from too many nose surgeries) AT LEAST HERE HIS NOSE LOOKS SOMEWHAT HUMAN:

He had some work done between 'Off The Wall' and 'Thriller',and he should have stopped there. There was nothing wrong with his face during the 'Thriller' era,so why did he feel the need to keep going under the knife?

I don't think anyone would disagree, but at risk of sounding like a broken record: It's been 20 years already. Get over it

He wanted his nose to look like Peter Pans. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

i think he looks the same there as he does now. i think since then the only difference is lighter skin, straighter hair, and maybe one more nose job, other then that his face is the same as it was in 1989, the picture cinistercee posted i think proves it, just look at his face in that picture. its the same. can anyone name one thing that makes him look differnt there, then now? besides the things ive already mentioned

i mean dont you think this still of michael in moonwalker in 1989 looks like it could of been him in ghosts in 1997, besides the obvious hairstyle change. i actually thought when i first saved the moonwalker picture that it was michael in ghosts, until i saw the smooth criminal clothes.

Michael Jackson in 1987: Michael Jackson in 1992/1993 with over-obvious jaw and nose work: Michael Jackson during the "HIStory" era with his nose all fucked from so many operations: What I dreamed last night after eating something spoilt: I mean, can anybody truly be THAT clueless?

everyone always compares the worst photos of michael now to the best ones of him when hes young, as proven by the poster above me
