Pharrell Solo album been pushed back until 2006! First expected in November and then bumped to Dec. 13, the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams' highly anticipated solo debut, "In My Mind," is now being targeted for release in February via Star Trak/Interscope. No reason was given for the date change.
First single "Can I Have It Like That" featuring Gwen Stefani is No. 20 this week on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks chart and No. 49 on the Hot 100. As previously reported, Williams and Stefani will perform "Can I Have It Like That" tonight (Nov. 22) at the American Music Awards, which will be broadcast live on ABC. The label has just sent a second single, "Angel," to U.S. radio outlets. "In My Mind" is expected to be split between seven hip-hop tracks and seven others with a more R&B flavor. Guests include Jay-Z, Daddy Yankee and Star Trak artists Slim Thug and Vanessa Marquez. The album's push from the fourth quarter release schedule echoes the same fate as OutKast's highly anticipated "Idlewild," which was recently bumped from Dec. 13 to an undetermined 2006 date. .bilboard.com . How can "Can I Have It Like That?" even chart? It's worse than anything on there. It's not even catchy. It's awful! AWFUL! The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

The second single "Angel" is on time, but the album is late.
