seven more days-terrence trent d'arby

i just recently discovered this joint "seven more days" on ttd's 1st album and i absolutley love it!!!! the thing i love about it, is that it's so damn blusey and soulful that you can picture the misery in the prison he's describing. any body else know 'bout this one?

Not true at all...

In fact, his mother was still alive when he recorded it.

Beautiful tune.

Back in the day, I use to wear this album out!! biggrin

It was that good, from beginning to end..

His follow-up was kinda of a let down.

I actually think he got better with each album. "Introducing..." seems more like he was told to do that album to get in... "Neither fish..." seemed like he had more artistic freedom.

FYI, he has a greatest hits CD coming out on January 17th.

I agree, his debut album is awesome!

Exactly, Introducing is a brilliant album, but Neither Fish Nor Flesh, Symphony Or Damn, Vibrator and Wildcard are even better

With each album afterwards, he had his moments.

To Know Someone is a excellent tune on Neither Fish, but to me something was lacking. Just wasn't the same after the first album. I had high hopes for him.
But he's still one of my favorites... biggrin
