they have very similar features. "funny lip shape," rounded face with strong cheekbones, similar chins. i've always thought they look related.

If you like lionheart, follow it with The Kick Inside, her debut, which is of similar style to lionheart but better...

I think they were both released in 1978

Does Mrs. Bartolozzi remind anyone of a early/mid seventies Joni Mitchell? For some reason it reminds me of Blue. They might be in the same key or something.

never read the song titles anymore edit.

i'm loving the album. loving it. there's so much going on that i know it's going to take all winter for me to process it all, but that's okay. i look forward to it. i listened to it last night for the first time after having it on my counter for a couple of days - i waited until i knew i could be alone and could give it my full attention. i really really enjoyed my first listen. i'm not at all disappointed. cloud9

No probs. It's not surprising that you didn't know. I think most folks are still pinching themselves that it actually exists.

That and with all the endless stickies of the past few months, you were probably expecting an "OMG! OMG!" type thread once it actually dropped.

Still haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, cuz I'm waiting for the proper chance to play it in one sitting undistracted.

very wise choice. i'm glad i did that last night. i'm going to need about a dozen more listens to feel like it's even sinking in. it's great music, though. i can't wait to hear your reaction to it.

Do the 2 halves go together well or do they seem like toad diff albums?

i adore that song - it's so warm and safe and motherly - but it doesn't really remind me a whole lot of joni mitchell. maybe it will after a few more listens.
