BTW, this is a very cool thread. Back in the day I enjoyed listening to X, Black Flag, DK, Corrosion of Conformity, and the Decline of WC soundtrack, but sure can't claim in any way to have been involved in the punk culture.

WAs it JOHN CALE and MAGAZINE? I NEVER HEard them but I want to now. KRAFTWERK was REALLY GREAT and MI-SEX had COMPUTER GAMES. I also like ROMEO VOID and the RAMONES.

That one is a HUGE crowdpleaser. biggrin Parts of it are re-arranged for a soprano duet with baroque violin arpeggios so it vacillates between a classical sounding choral piece and hard-ripping punk. Plus the lyrics are entirely punk so it's very funny too.
