Red Box - The Circle And The Square

I used to have this album on cassette and listened to it religiously - what an amazing, creative, uplifting album. As a kid ("born in 1977") growing up in England, I was inspired by the writing and musicianship on this album, as well as the background choir used throughout.

I cannot believe that it has not been issued on CD, other than a Japanese import that runs anywhere from $50-200 on eBay. And it's nowhere to be found for download. To top it all off, I moved last year, and now I can find the cassette box and inlay, but no cassette, so I can even record it onto my computer...

Anyone else love this album as much as me? Anyone know where to get this on CD or CDR? Anyone heard Motive, their follow-up?

I can't believe there hasn't been one single reply. Does no-one else remember this?

I love this album. Bought it on a whim when it was released and it became an instant fave. Living in Domes was a standout for me. Havent heard it in years, because I, too, lost my copy. Good luck finding it. Hook a bro. up if you do. lol

never heard the follow up. What was the deal w/ these guys? were they some kind of supergroup or something?

I'm so glad someone else remembers this - it had been a day between my posts, and my thread had sunk like a stone, so I don't think I was being too impatient - just figured no-one else knew this album or something.

Not a supergroup as far as I know - just a group that didn't last very long for whatever reason...

The only place other than my stereo that i ever heard this was in a record store. Thats the reason I bought it. They were playing it over the sound system and it blew me away. I keep thinking that I'll run across my copy some day( at my parents house). That, and my copy of Hats (the Blue Nile)
