some people are under the impression that if you like every single album, song, movie,etc..that you're obsessed or somehow mislead into thinking they're so great. i think the term used here is "fam" i don't find it strange at all. i mean why else would they be your favourite and i'm not denying that some people are borderline obsessive anyway..

With Grace Jones, I felt an very strong connection with her as an artist because as a black woman who is into alternative music she was expressing herself in ways that i've always been intereted in but mostly in white artists. It was nice to see someone black who was just fearless and innovative. Same goes or Betty Davis. Plus I found out that these artist are really talented in their own way and very underrated.

and when or what made you finally realize that this was your favourite artist well its the longest ive ever liked an artist for, for 3 years now, usually other ones i like, i love them for about 6 months and then forget about them.

did you like this person from their beginings or were you turned on to them by someone else I hated him as a kid, thought he dressed like a girl. I liked a few of his songs. But then Purple Rain dropped and I didn't care what he looked like anymore. He was a pure badass after that.

and when or what made you finally realize that this was your favourite artist Around The World In A Day made me realize that he was an exciting, unpredictable and supremely talented artist. I stayed on the bandwagon ever since.

No, my first music idol ever was Michael Jackson, closely followed by Prince and because of Prince' musical diversity I learned about artists like Stevie, Miles Davis, Curtis Mayfield etc..

I wasn't there from the beginning (wish I was!), but I had this feeling I had to buy 'Songs In The Key Of Life' 5 years ago, so I did and I was mesmerized.

do you like everything they've done No. I have a strong preference for his later work (and, even among that, there are things I'm not crazy about).

and when or what made you finally realize that this was your favourite artist I went through a period where I was less interested in Springsteen because I'd moved on to more "alternative" music. But when I heard "Brilliant Disguise", I knew this was a man who was moving into territory that left most other songwriters in the dust and I was back on the train for good.
