My song of the day: Cry baby

I don`t know what it is about this song, but it really gets me in a GOOD mood dancing jig It`s one of the few songs by Janis Joplin i actually like. Maybe it`s memories, cause when it came out, i was crazy about the "look who`s talking" movie (still am lol), and the song was featured in movie, and it was one of my favorite things about it.

If you like that tune, you really should listen to the original...

...by Garnet Mimms

That tune, along with quite a few others Janis performed (along with other artists), was co-written by a friend of mine, Jerry Ragovoy.

Piece of my Heart (Erma Franklin)
Get It While You Can (Howard Tate)
Try (Just A Little Bit Harder) (Lorraine Ellison)
Time Is On My Side (The Rolling Stones)
Stop (Jimi Hendrix, The James Gang, Mike Bloomfield)

This is one of the reasons i would kill for the "Natalie live" album by Natalie Cole. She sings "cry baby" on the concert biggrin
