there are two albums from my college days that i wish i wouldn't have gotten rid of. one was the woodentops' "wooden footcops on the highway" (or some title to that extent) and the other one was by a group called stump and the record was called "a fierce pancake". i think i can get the woodentops album fairly cheap as an import, but the stump album is out of print and going for around a hundred bucks on ebay and gemm.com. sad

tom tom club is one of my favorites! 'dark sneak love action' is an awesome album from beginning to end - sexy and funky and delicious. what's not to love about an album with songs like "dogs in the trash" and "who wants an ugly girl"?

The Fixx rocks.

Jamie West-Oram's guitar playing gets very little attention. Awesome rhythm sound.

From what I understand, they're still touring with most of the original members.

What was the name of that punk-rock looking chick who sung that song "I Don't Wanna Fall In Love"? I think her name was Jane something. Whatever happened to her? And whatever happened to John Cafferty And The Beaver Brown Band? Remember them? They were the band that did all the music for the Eddie And The Cruisers movie. Including "On The Darkside". And remember The Thompson Twins? I loved "Lies Lies Lies", "King For Just One Day" and my favorite "Lay Your Hands". I also liked ABC. Man they had some good music. Remember "Look Of Love" "Millionaire" and "When Smokey Sings"? Good Stuff.
