Euro dance music makes me and there are moments upon first listening when I was giving it the screw face but my head was still nodding to the beat. It's not too Euro and that's a good thing to me. But one thing that's true for me is that often I'm so excited or so longing for something by my favorite artists I'm just glad to have something new and it's only later that I realize that maybe it's not all that. I don't expect the earth to move from Madonna, she is what she is and I don't mean that in a negative way. The songs could be a little faster and lyrics are just okay but the album is not a bust by any means. So for me COAD is a good thing.

I think Dancefloor Confessions would have made a better title. Confessions on a Dancefloor sounds too wordy for me.

I predict that she won't abandon the Europop/electronica sound anytime soon.She seems to be comfortable in this genre,working with (mostly) unknown/non-commercial producers that aren't from America.

You know what's funny? At the beginning of the year,there were rumors that she was working on a "danceable rock" album.Not sure if she started this project and then abandoned it,or if it's just a rumor,but it could have been interesting.The downside is,a rock album would be a hard sell for her fans that prefer dance music.

I agree. When I heard that this is a balladless, dance album, I figured this album would be right up my alley. I was very disappointed with it. I was expecting house music but I wasn't expecting techno house. I was expecting funky house songs along the lines of "Thief Of Hearts". When I stopped buying house music was when techno took over it.
