Yeah, they'll tell you if you don't have a Deco Table with an Ace-Anna Arm,... ...you ain't hittin' on nothin'. Just a mere shade over $38K! Actually the "best seller" over at Acoustic Sounds (audiophile heaven) is... ...the belt driven Music Hall MMF-2.1 for just over $300. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Yeah, they'll tell you if you don't have a Deco Table with an Ace-Anna Arm,... ...you ain't hittin' on nothin'. Just a mere shade over $38K! There's been times when i'd take audiophile magazines to the bathroom and Seriously, i'm always like OH I WANT THAT! then i remember the balance on my checking account. Actually the "best seller" over at Acoustic Sounds (audiophile heaven) is... ...the belt driven Music Hall MMF-2.1 for just over $300. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 that looks a lot like mines. and mines costs $600! the cheaper ones are always the best seller. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to run a 38,000 turntable through a $300 amp. One of these days though, i'll build my listening room.

tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 ...anyway, this all reminds me that i need to find a couple of milk crates or something to set my floor speakers up off the floor. i can't even play my turntable with the speakers set on because of my crotchety-assed downstairs neighbor (no, i don't have 'em blasting away...no matter how low i have it the cat still complains).

A new sound system. Ahhhhh
But it's been so long and the tech is beyond me. I need to go shopping with a sound consultant/technician.

I've got two of these....
I ordered them off the internet in 2002 for about $130 each. They aren't direct drive but they are OK. _____ I also got two of these at the same time for about $125 each..... The digital display that counts the minutes and seconds backwards burned out last year but the CD players are still going on strong. I put my income tax refund to good use that year. I need another mixer though because the sliders are getting static in them. The crossfader hasn't worked in years. I have to slide one up and one down at the same time. Andy is a four letter word.
