Favorite solo albums by a Beatle

1. Plastic Ono Band - Lennon (my favorite track: God)
2. All things must pass - Harrison (my favorite track: Beware of darkness)
3. Chaos and Creation in the backyard - Macca (my favorite track: riding to Vanity Fair)

Other favorites (only a few from the list of solo recordings that I love):
Lennon - Imagine, Walls and Bridges
Macca - Band on the run, Tug of War
Harrison - 33 and a third, Brainwashed
Starr - Ringorama, RINGO

I used to say Plastic Ono Band like most Beatle sychopants, but, golly gumboots, cover me with eggs and flour and bake me for 40 minutes if All Things Must Pass isn't one of the most beautiful collections of songs I've ever heard. I was suprised and I like feeling suprised. George was always my favourite Beatle. His hair was always wonderful.

Plastic Ono Band.

Though I actually, to my eternal shame, listen to Band on the Run more often.

Don't know about the hair thing lol , but George is my favorite Beatle when it comes to personality. Gotta love the man cool
Plastic Ono Band or all things must pass...it was a photo finish wink

When you love All things must pass - you've gotta find the bootleg:
More songs for Patti ('all things' demo's). Great and too beautifull accoustic versions of many All things songs. Very very very good sound (no Phil spector wall of sound on it - just George and his guitar)

Take "Double Fantasy"... get rid of the Yoko tracks... add "Nobody Told Me" and you have a GREAT (though a little short) disc!!!

I love the Imagine album too! music

But ATMP has to be the winner here... though I rarely listen to the "apple jam" stuff...

My favorite Lennon track is from Double Fantasy - Watching the Wheels - but overal it's not a favorite of mine. A bit too clean...
