remember this jam--Hold Me--Teddy Pendergrass and Whitney Houston when Teddy was on the decline and nobody had heard of Whitney yet...they came up with one of the best dam slow jams of the 80's..it was released on Teddy's LP first, i believe, then put on Whitney's debut album.
they tore this mafugga up! also her duets with jermaine jackson, nobody loves me like you do and if you say my eyes are beautiful, were great!

Diana Ross also recorded a version of Hold me, but It was titled "In Your Arms." It was on the Silk Electric album and on her Greatest hits: The RCA years.
Same exact song, retitled when Teddy and Whitney did it. I like their version better. | |
