Oldschool R&B Slow Jam:Feel me by Cameo

R&B Funk band Cameo had some nice ballads back in the day. Feel me is one of my Favorite slow jams of the 1980's. Who all will agree with me?

I love this slow jam. It's one of those songs that makes you want to do those "filty, unnatural things", as the blue-haired old lady on "Women of Brewster Place" used to say. lol
Andy is a four letter word.

One of the guys on that song has the best falsetto I have ever heard on a record. He can do some good screaming too. I would have loved to seen him and Prince go at it. They could bust some eardrums. lol

"Feel Me" is solid .. period

I'll hang also with "Hangin' Downtown " and "Love You Anyway" from the "She's Strange" album in 1984 .... these masterpieces had a good jazz-vibe .

other crooners :

- You're A Winner ( 1983 ) - although it's kinda mid-tempo
- Sparkle ( 1979 )
- Don't Be Lonely ( 1986 ) ( i once saw them play it brilliantly live on stage )

No slow jam compilation would be complete without this song and "Sparkle" music
