Is 'The Mouse and The Mask' the best hip-hop cd of 2005 I'm trying to come up with any other cd that even comes close. The Mouse and The Mask by Danger Doom is the most creative cd of the year IMO (it just happens to be hip-hop). Centered around Adult Swim, it just seems to blow any other hip-hop releases out of the water. Will Kanye still the thunder because of his popularity? 'Old School' and 'Sofa King' kill the 'Gold Digger' any way you stack it.
Am I way off base? ---------------------------------

Am I way off base? It should definitely be considered a contender. Awesome!!!

Hmmmmm. Both are great albums. I wouldn't even compare the two except for the fact that they are both great. Let's hope more people get hip to Doom though.

I think it is. And that's not saying much for hip-hop this year. It's a good album, as is Kanye's, but there's been nothing that's really blown me away.
