BOWIE continues to mine back catelog Serious Moonlight getting the deluxxxe DVD treatment
from billboard.com: David Bowie will release a refurbished edition of his "Serious Moonlight" concert DVD March 13 via EMI, according to his Web site. The DVD spotlights a September 1983 show in Vancouver filmed and directed by David Mallet and features such favorites as "Fashion," "Rebel Rebel," "Young Americans," "Ahses to Ashes" and "China Girl." "Moonlight" is rounded out with a 78-minute cut of the tour documentary "Ricochet," filmed in such locales as Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong. In addition, a four-song, digital only EP will be released Feb. 13, encompassing the audio from the DVD tracks "Space Oddity," "Breaking Glass," "China Girl" and "Young Americans." | |

Do I really even need to see the Serious Moonlighter performing in his yellow suit? I'd much rather see the Station to Station White Light show, or the "Heroes"/Low tour that Stage came from. Is the Glass Spider tour on DVD yet? If not, I'd expect taht to be following soon. I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |

very excited about this!! Actually he isnt the king of reissues but since he has sold all his catalogue for a big upfront payment!! so the ppl who own the rights r cashing in!! bowie will not see any penny from it now | |

Actually he isnt the king of reissues but since he has sold all his catalogue for a big upfront payment!! so the ppl who own the rights r cashing in!! bowie will not see any penny from it now when did bowie sell his rights? i knew he was selling stock in his material but that is a big difference from selling the rights. can you point me in the direction of an article that talks about this because i'd love to read why in the world bowie would do something so stupid! its really not in his character at all; he's such a smooth business man. .
