Performance wise, Bobby Brown had so much energy and charisma. He even admitted he waa only an alright dancer, and he admitted he loved hammers dancing


If we are including ones not on the list, i go for paula abdul too, as i siad in the past, she is amazing. Look at "cold hearted". Thats is on par with most of the scenes in "west side story", and is very Bob Fosse.

dance is body in motion. sure, what mj and his followers (and sorry folks but i consider hammer a follower of mj.....along with usher, justin and half the other acts around) are dancing...but its street dance....i see many o folks in the clubs hitting as grand as many of these kats..

but what fosse and roberts choreographed and taught?...that was art. an artform that is sadly dying....thats one thing i give madonna mucho credit for..her dancers are performers just as much as she is...sometimes they even overshadower her own dancing.....but she is secure enough to allow that...i guess i just wish more people had an appreciation for that style of dance.

Duh! MJ of course. At least he's done different styles. I love watching his Fred Astaire impressions from the Jacksons TV Show in the 70s. He's phenomenal. There's one clip I have on vidoe that I can't find online ANYWHERE but it's the best damn thing I've ever seen him do.

That new kid Chris Brown's doin some tricky shit, to be quite honest. I could picture bein 5 years old in my footy pajamas tryna recreate that shit. Moonwalk was pretty easy compared to some of that. I wonder what the shit is gonna look like in 20 years.

Ain't nobody you mentioned could touch James Brown in his heyday. Dude was THE SHIT, period. His show and dancing was the ultimate experience. Go out a find some rare footage of JB and the Famous Flames and JB's from the early days and mid 70's and compare it to MJ, Hammer and Bobby Brown what a joke. His shows(dancing) went of for hours.


Hardest Working Man in Show Business...and he still kickin' it at 72.
