i've been in love with the bob james cut "kissing cross" from his 1994 "restless" album for over 10 years, but the thing i've been racking my brain tryin to figure out is who's playin the sax on the song.... i've always thought it was david sanborn 'cause it has all his trademark grinds and squeals,but on the album credits no one is listed....which lead me to believe that either there was no listing due to a typo.....maybe dave did it as a favor and didn't care about credit cause they've been playin together for so long....or it was one of those "the-fans'll-know-who-it-is-from-the-1st-note" things...any takers here?
