This baseline is sick!...GET ON THE FLOOR

I´m talking bout the track on MJ´s "Off The Wall" album.THe whole song is so funked up- also the terrific percussion-intermission with MJ´s spittin: "get up-won´t u go down- shake yo bod´-won´t you go get down". Man, this tracks is disco inferno! but most of all the bass player:Louis Johnson-
who is this guy? did he do some solo work?
orgers around the world- gimme some information!

Man the heat on that song is sooooo undeniably strong and the funk, oh my God the funk. I love this song to death. It shows MJ at his funkiest and the bassline on that song is to die for. If only MJ could be just one-third funky like that again, I'd take back every bad thing I've said about him.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

The bassline on this song is BEYOND sick! The bassline itself need to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..LOL

If you're not into the Brothers Johnson, try ordering their "Right On Time" CD featuring the songs "Q" and "Brother Man." LAWDY LAWD!

Yeah that song is mad funky, I turn that song way up when I listen to it. On the remastered Off The Wall CD Quincy Jones said that "GET ON THE FLOOR' was a song The Brothers Johnson had been working on already when they gave it to Michael.

A few years ago,I met the Brothers Johnson at a concert. When I shook Louis' hand,I was thinking "THIS is the hand that played amazing bass on all those great songs...."Billie Jean","Get On The Floor",etc!!"
