What's the problem? Can't you deal with the fact that some people don't believe the crap and still buy his music?

I dont think its a question of seeing through "crap". The crap in question has been his output of around 2 1/2 albums in the last decade. Some of those songs were great, the rest were distinctly below par, and all produced at great great co$t to Sony.

MJ will always sell records as he has loads of hardcore fans ( a testament to his brilliance pre-1991), but his records in the last decade have been very poor and not worthy of the esteem he is held in by most of his fans.

I will use this argument every time i see an MJ Vs Prince or MJ Vs Madonna thread as I think its perfectly legitimate, 4 albums in 20 years is shit, and i think it's the fundamental problem with Jacko for me. He doesn't produce enough material (records, tours, videos etc etc) of a varied quality or quantity to keep me interested. What is infinately more interesting is his private life, and thats a sad sad fact.

In my honest opinion all of Mariah's songs sucks. Musically she can not compete with Madonna's catalogue. She's the much better vocalist but her music is not up there with Madonna's.

BUT that african girl from the Live Aid is sooooo BEAUTIFUL! I still remember the moment thinking how ridiculous Madonna looks next to her. She had to be rude and shöw herself off to make herself interesting, while this girl was just standing there with such a dignity that was hypnotizing.

i do agree with most people that invincible is his worst. it was very average, not bad, but average for michaels standards. although i like more songs from invincible then off the wall, invincible is still last as it had more bad songs then off the wall did and i hate the production on invinible which is another thing that leads me to believe michael should really do the producing on his next album as i love the producing on history. history is in fact my favourite album of michaels, i think he did his best songwriting on that album then hes ever done before, i dont understand why more people dont like it. i can only find three songs i dont like on that album, 'D.S', 'come together' and 'this time around' and one of them shouldnt of been on the album anyway as it was a cover song he made in the 80's.

but back on topic, madonna is or should i say was fantastic, i love most of her music until recently. i absolutely hate american life and to this day i still listen to it trying to make myself like it but i just cant, the songs are just bad and the production is so cheap sounding, and her new cd dissapointed me alot also, its growing on me but its no masterpiece. i hope she hasnt lost it and that she suprises me with her next cd, although i have to say im loving the new look, she looks absolutely amazing, and the performances of hung up are great. there are so many great things about madonna that this post would go far too long to name them all, i think to really appreciate madonna and understand the greatness about her youd have to listen to erotica, like a prayer and ray of light, well those are the albums that made me see the greatness anyway.
