Taana Gardner or Seduction?? - Heartbeat

Taana Gardner's "Heartbeat" is a very popular funk song and has been sampled heavily especially in the beginnings of the Rap era.

I want to know what u guys think of Seduction's remake on their debut album in 1990. I think the singing was...better..some elements were missing from the original like that eerie synth, but the funk was still there, in a New jack Swing-like way, it still wuz guud.

What u guys think?

Love it! I also love Two to Make it Right. I saw Seduction in concert back when I was 7. They opened for Milli Vanilli, hehe. Fun times.

I think they're both good, but Taana's has a harder, funkier edge to it that I like more.

Seduction's version is the one I have heard the most. Years later I finally heard Taana's. The original is more of a laid back funkier sound, and the latter is more dance oriented. I like both.
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

The lead singer in Seduction was the cutest thing, but I gotta go with the original.
