Amazingly, the track with Sean Paul ("Cry Baby Cry") is excellent.Joss Stone adds beautiful vocals on the chorus.I love it!

Trinity (with Kirk Hammett and Robert Randolph)

I need to hear this.

I just listened to all the 30 second samples at Amazon. The Trinity track sounds great. I'll definitely be getting this album.

I saw Santana a few weeks ago when he came through Dallas. Robert Randolph opened for him. THAT DUDE IS AMAZING. I think I enjoyed him as much as Santana. Definitely go see him when you get a chance.
Many Christmas' ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

I have to admit,I'm not really that excited about this project sad

Carlos Santana is one of my favorite artists, but I'm sick of all the guest artists. The first single from this album---"I'm Feeling You"---is total crap.He has an incredibly talented and diverse band, but he'd rather collaborate with the likes of Bo Bice and Michelle Branch?! I wish he would just go into the studio with his own band and create a stunning masterpiece without the guest stars. This formula worked extremely well on 'Supernatural',but by now,it's kinda played out.

I guess I'll take a wait-and-see approach.I saw Santana in concert last month and I got to hear several of these new songs played live.I was impressed with "Twisted" and "I Am Somebody".So who knows? Maybe this album has a few surprises up its' sleeves.

I've just seen him perform on a German TV show, I guess it was "I'm feeling you". Couldn't believe my ears, utter BS, IMO. Boring song-writing, and he's just noodling his solo all through the song. It's like, "oh the song starts, I better noodle around as much as I can". And his guitar sound gets on my last nerves, I cannot stand it anymore.
Hate to say it, but that was just lame. Even his guitar playing.

"I'm Feeling You" is pop garbage, but most of the other songs are very good.I was pleasantly surprised.

Got the cd on Saturday and have listened to it 3 times. I'm really enjoying it. There are only 2 songs I don't like:

Michelle Branch - I'm feeling you - too pop sounding
Will.i.am. - I am somebody - it's awful!

My Man with Mary J and Big Boi is fantastic!!

I would give this cd at least a 3 1/2 out of 5.

I think I will download "I'm Feeling You" on iTunes and call it a day.
I bought "Supernatural" and "Shaman" and digged both. I listened to the samples from this CD and thought "bleh" with most of the material. I must be getting older. Half of the "new" artists I couldn't care less about.

If he does one more song with Michelle Branch, I'm gonna take a dump in that little hat and then pat it on his head.

Like, I understand growin older and maturing as an artist, but how the fuck is she be 24 and makin shit that goes straight to Adult Contemporary stations? That is gross. Doesn't she have angst or fire or any sanguine humors in her? It's insane. Even her "angry" rockin material (Are You Happy Now?) could be used to sell Total or Special K.

I like "I Am Somebody"...musically,it's a great uptempo track.I like the lyrics too.

"My Man" should be a future single.

The only songs I don't really care for are "I'm Feeling You" and "Just Feel Better"....the two blandest songs on the album.I'm shocked that these are the first two singles...what is Arista thinking?!
