Bob Dylan live 28-10-05 Hello everybody
Last friday I went to see Bob Dylan. Someone I knew had 2 tickets and he decided not to go, I got the tickets instead Now let me warn you beforehand. Dylan has never been the world's best singer, but he used to pack emotion and a sharp pencil. The concert started around 20:00 and he opened with Maggie's Farm. The sound wasn't that great the first 2 songs but improved during the concert. He played around 20 songs including but not limited to : All along the watchtower, lovesick, Tangled up in blue. The band was great. solid sound. Dylan however.. sigh.. his voice is nothing anymore. U can barely understand anything he'singing. People around me complained about this. He made absolutley no contact with the audience. Only to introduce the band, but no one could understand what he was saying... I was very excited to go and see him perform live but no I've been there and am left with an empty feeling.. so sad, how the great have fallen... But I still like his music Just no more live Dylan for me [Edited 10/31/05 7:00am] "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I saw him about 2 years ago 4 times and he was really great. I had some boots of recent shows so was prepared for his vocal, and he sounded better than those. I think it depends on your expectation. Amazing that he still actually bothers, he sure doesn't need to do it.
