I never really paid much attention to her before, but one of my friends is a big fan. She won an MTV competiton to see her in London and she took me last night for some taping of a new "5 Star" series they're doing. It was really fun, and we were almost right at the front.

It was cool seeing her do the songs from her new album having to do them a few times each because she kept forgetting the words

I think she's brilliant.















And hot.

That 'La Tortura'-song is just sultry & sexy!!!! Even without the video (which I haven't seen!)!

Yes, she is a great writer. There is a site called Shakiramedia, there r pages devoted to what she says about certain things, wow, very poetic. Belly-dancing is not just shaking her A$$, it is also a sign of sensuality and being in touch with who you are as a person.

Shakiras great. Saw her in 03 in Laredo, Texas and she rocked. With that said, she sings alot better in spanish. Alot more fluent

She is gorgeous and a good songwriter. Not just all looks and fluff. There's some substance behind that awesome face and body.
