Does anyone know of The Aleems?

They had that old skool jam "release yourself"? I think it has been sampled many times? Did any of you guys ever have their album? I wish I could find this.

Would you happen to know where I might be able to get a copy of the Aleems on cd? I've done a search online and it looks like they released an GH or something.

So what are Black Ivory like?

Black Ivory had hit singles on Patrick Adams's "Today records" in the late 60's early 70's such as Dont turn around, spinning around and a few others. classic soul,

No...he lived in the same apartment as them when he first arrived in new york...and later he used them to sing background vocals on a few of his later recordings....he also had plans b4 he died to help them record a "ghetto fighters album.
