Last week I was at Wal-Mart and found Carnival of Souls: The Last Sessions for just $5.88. I had heard nothing but negative things about this cd, which is why I've waited like 10 years to pick it up. But at 5.88, it doesn't really matter how badly it sucks. Anyway, it actually kicks ass. I liked it. A lot.  I don't know why people hated it so much, unless it's because it's not quite as party oriented as other KISS music.
It's not one of their greatest, but it's damn strong.

I just downloaded it all. Should get the invoice e-mailed to me tomorrow. I took a screenshot of the price in case it was a mis-print on iTunes because it still seems too good to be true. | |

KISS is one of my all time favorite bands. Loved them all of my life. Had the pleasure to have met Gene a few times. Anyway, I have TOO many fave songs by them to mention. Here are a few;
Great Expectations (Adored this since I was 8 years old. But what was so cool was that they kept their Destroyer outfits for Rock and Roll Over. That album, to me, was KISS at their best. Magic was in the air for them and they seized that shit. But "Great Expectations" is just a beautiful song to me. My mom used to wonder when she heard me humming that song all of the time around the house "Chris is only 8 years old.
