What happened to the George Michael digital EP?

First it was due October 3, then October 28, now all mention of it has been removed from his website... The tracks are available on the UK iTunes, but, living in the US, I would only be able to download them from his site, or a US download site...

Did Andrew Ridgeley have anything to do with this sabotage?

ok. now, George Michæl is one of my favourite artists..but

this is another reason so many artist lose their fan base, or the majority of it. wether it be ego, cancellations, "differences" with their record company, etc.
back when mtv was actually playing videos, he decides not to appear in his videos for his 2nd album. his 2nd tour was cancelled. then a 5 song ep was released with little promotion. when he did tour, i believe they were very limited dates. then gone. "Older" which is a great album, of course didn't get the push it should've. "Songs from.." well anyone else remember that?
yes. he went through some personal tragedies, and fighting with sony. understood. but it really irritates me as i'm sure other people when artist make a project public then withdraw it at the 12th hour. mad

hmm he did do a duet with Whitney Houston. i wonder if she rubbed off on him. giggle

hmmm

there's very little point in being a George Michael fan. all you're in for is disappointment and a long wait. admittedly, his albums are pretty good, but they don't live up to the wait

'Older' was hyped up to no end. At least in the UK it was.

I didn't hear anything about a digital album. Then again I don't pay a lot of attention to him. Love him to bits, however I figure every 4-5 years I need to pay attention. How many singles were released off the last one? I guess seeing as 2 were already released before...did it make it 5 in total? Patience should have been pushed pushed pushed! here, I think. It was a great album and would have given him more exposure had it been released properly.

Not hyped here at all. We were still waiting on LWP vol 2. Then he did the remix of the album and that went by without a peep.

It is tough but still a walk in the park compared to being an MJ fan. lol I can't wait for the DVD.

Perhaps he's saving the tracks for another proper full album instead, who knows. Just because his last few albums didn't get airplay, doesn't mean you cant pick them up and enjoy them. Songs From The Last Century and Patience are fantastic.

I love Older Ellie!

"Jesus To A Child"
"Fast Love"
"Spinning The Wheel"
"Older (EP)"
"The Strangest Thing"
"You Have Been Loved"

That album yielded a bucketful of UK Top 5 hits.

Smash!!
