is this true, BTW? I heard that Kid Charlamagne was about Owsley Stanley, the LSD chemist...although I also heard that there's a part in "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test", where Ken Kessey, on the run from the authorities in Mexico, asks the driver, "Is there gas in the car?"...

Deacon Blues just shades it for me. Though both are terrific. I prefer The Royal Scam album to Aja, i think it's the leanest and meanest Steely Dan got.
