It was the first Madonna album my mom let me have. Something to Remember, I'm Going Bananas. Back In Business, What Can You Lose, He's A Man, Vogue, Hanky Panky all great songs in my book. I loved how she worked I'm Going Bananas into the Girlie Show. Madonna has been the most constant music force in my life. I can remember sneaking around the house when i was little to watch her videos on MTV. I almost got grounded in the 3rd grade when I was caught watching Express Yourself, but my mom decided it was all ready to late and the damage had been done. I stayed home from a wedding for a friend of my mothers so i could watch the Girlie Show when it came on HBO. The performances for Deeper and Deeper and the Beast Within were what made me realize i was Gay. I was worried that after Ray of Light Madonna would be done releasing music and I wouldn't hear a new Madonna track in the clubs. Than she came through. Music came on at the first gay club i went to in SD really it was Tijuana but it was Great!!! All Hail the Queen.
