1970s Pop/Rock Jam of the Day: "Blinded By The Light"

I love this song but I'm not sure what group recorded it. Was it Manford Mann? Also, did they have any other memorable songs?

They performed it, but Bruce wrote it and recorded it. I like Mann's version much better. This is one of my favorite songs. I ADORE the guitar solo as well. Good pick, Vain.

I like this too. Manfred Mann's Earth Band.

Weird song but a classic. It always reminds me of driving at night with the streetlights blurring past.

One of the better British Invasion bands (musician wise)
They're probably best known for tunes like "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" and "Pretty Flamingo".

They've got a suprisingly good cover of Burt Bacharach's My Little Red Book.

Interesting. I never had you pegged for a...

And go-cart Mozart was checkin' out the weather chart to see if it was safe outside
And little Early-Pearly came by in his curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride

They recorded that one? I never would have guessed it.

Nice thread. Great song!
