Please explain to me (in your own words) why in the hell THIS music industry continues to make up excuse for most of these talentless, lip-syncing bound, no singing ass white women of the past & present?

Granted, there are some well know black women that are/were limited in the singing & talent department too (Mary J. Blige used to be one of them). But too often, it's always the talentless white women that continues to get too many second chances (Read: Ashlee) in the spotlight.

And as a black male music fan, I'm so sick of it!!!

I'm not sure why so many people are into lip-syncing, talentless bimbos, but I have a feeling that her current popularity may be due to the fact that some people are just plain sick and tired of rap/hip/hop and are looking for something with a more positive message. Ashlee doesn't sing about her bitches and hos, how many expensive cars she has or how much bling she owns. I believe that many people are sick of hearing about that shit and want something more positive.

Hell if I know. The stunning lack of taste in music of young people my age -especially girls and younger women, for some reason -is a bit depressing. For the most part though I try to ignore it. I play what I like and I pretend the rest doesn't exist. It's easier on the ears that way.

Lip-syncing is used because even if the singer's would have a decent voice the recorded number is superior on sound quality considering the mix is rightthere where it should be and the performance has already been "nailed". Their target audiences most of the time can't tell the difference. Even if they were able to pull out a decent live vocal that's what's used especially for TV versions, because younger viewers just wouldn't understand what's so great about an inferior performance.
