and the latest Foo Fighters, of which I'm digging the acoustic bits better than the harder rock tracks.

I was really disappointed with the new Foo Fighters album. In fact since Pat Smear left they've not been the same, ditto for the original drummer. I absolutely loved the first two albums but thought the two that followed were really really poor. In Your Honour is an improvement but it should no way have been a double, especially in the format it's in. You're either battered by rock or bored by way too many bland accoustic tracks. Should've been a 13/14 track single album. All respect to Dave but his band aren't versatile or talented enough to pull of the "classic" double album trick.

.....and then you go see Dave & the boys live and they just blow your mind, Taylor Hawkins hits the skins like a madman, Dave shows he's a manic bandleader and you just realize that Pat Smear really wasn't much more than a name on a booklet.....what, they made a acoustic-album as well????

Foo Fighters rock, and they do it hard! headbang
