omg, i miss those years

exactly, but I'll push it back to Like a Prayer - Erotica. Her most fasinating era for me.

After that she bored me for a few years during Bedtime Stories and Something to Remember era , until she kicked it in again with Ray of Light

Oh no hbo. My opinion of someone has nothing to do with their musical tastes.

You have to understand that this is a running joke between myself, David and Chico.

DavidEye and CHICO know i'm not fond of Madonna's music but I still have a great deal of respect for them.
There are many other artists we all enjoy.

I don't believe in raining on anyone's parade regarding posts on artists that I don't particularly like.
Very, very rarely i'll throw a minor jab in jest Madonna's way but generally I steer clear.

Now CHICO, that's another matter entirely. wink

But always remember, i'll still respect you in the morning. hug

hug I have this feisty, sensitive spot when it comes to M, I just can't help it. I usually steer clear too just to escape controversy. It's not really about the music though, for me, but all that she represents. She's so powerful.

All the periods between 1982 and now have been interesting but the most entertaining would have to have been 1989-1993, especially when Sex/Erotica came out. I don't know about anywhere else but in NYC, she was EVERYWHERE. Couldn't turn on the news for a while without seeing a story on her.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I can honestly say that I love it all. I'd say that '89-'93 was when she was at her most fascinating though.

I agree. The 'Erotica' era was outrageous! That was the best time to be a Madonna fan.

I wouldn't say it was the BEST, necessarily. It was the most interesting. I've always said that if you could become or could continue to be a fan in that era, you would be one for life.
