Maceo and all the kings men

can someone explain to me
is this not maceos solo work?

is it perhaps a different band he is with?
i just had a preview of an album entitled
'maceo and all the king's men... doing their own thing'

compared to maceos 'made by maceo' album

mmmm..alot more groove

what other releases sound along the lines of this?
preferably mostly instrumental
