song whatever happens from inviciable is probably
one of the best michael jackson songs.it feautures fiery guitar work by santana.
it's a shame it wasnt promoted,it could have been realy big hit.

blame that on Michael, he rather have talke to Martin Bashir than actually tour or self-promote that album in 2002.

I wasn't really impressed with YRMW as a first single. Very mediocre especially after all the Rodney Jerkins hype. Don't know if Whatever Happens would have made a difference but the fact that it wasn't a predictable single may have made people take notice if were released from the start.

I thought it was criminal that this song was not released as a single. It would have been a surefire hit.

I've always liked it... outside of MJ's vocals. Both his singing and his half-assed, ad-libbed screeching/whimpering make it sound like his nose was utterly fucked-up during recording, moreso than usual.

Actually, Heaven Can Wait did dent Billboard's R&B chart. After it was cancelled, some radio played it anyway and it hit no. 72 and stayed on the chart for 16 weeks.

I bet many of you didn't know that.
