The velvet rope vs All for you DVD

I discover Janet Jackson's velvet rope tour dvd and All for you:Live in Hawaii DVD at my store. I want to know which concert you think was better?

I much prefer The Velvet Rope. Basically, the All For You tour was a repeat of TVR, but not as good. I think Janet gave a better performance in The Velvet Rope.

All For You was nothing more than a retread of The Velvet Rope show. However, you shouldn't have to choose. I've seen quite a few of the Velvet Rope/All For You Combo DVDs for the price of teh single ones. If you can't find that, however, go for the Velvet Rope.

To me, The Velvet Rope tour was kind of reminded me of Madonna's Girlie Show concert, an ambitious, but at the same time sexy circus that proves why Janet is the most vital performers in the world of popular music. With The Velvet Rope concert, Jan and company was at the top of their game. The All For You concert was kind of disappointing for me really because of the stage and show production. I mean, it was tooooo overproduced. I didn't see the Rhythm Nation or janet. tour, so I wouldn't really know about those! I wonder when those are coming out on DVD?

According to the Miss Janet Fanclub, the Rhythm Nation and janet. tours will not be released because they weren't professionally filmed for distribution. Plus, Rhythm Nation was when Janet was still with the now defunct A&M records, so that's out of the question. My first concert ever was the janet. show in Philadelphia when I was 9 years old, and it was amazing. I remember every bit of it. It was way more elaborate than the Velvet Rope tour, but not as overproduced and "forced" as the All For You show. I really wish I could see it again! I have really great memories of seeing Janet for the first time with that show.

there is a professionally shot RN1814 tour. It was filmed in Japan and only released in Japan. Look for it on Ebay
