Stunningly Beautful + Incredible Voice + And Fashion Harlot = Miss Maki Nomiya

I have missed hearing her since the break up of Pizzicato 5. Until just recently I hadn't heard anything new from her for a long time. She is on the New Dimitri from Paris album. I knew it was her from the moment she sang. I started looking and found out miss Nomiya has a solo career with full albums out (first one came out the year P5 broke up). Incredibly hard to find and pricey when you do, I have found some unknown gems...especially since I am a Pizzicato 5 fan. If you like them, you'll like her solo work. Though it's obviously NOT P5 by a long shot...but just good catchy pop songs.

I can't believe there's a P5 thread! I was just talking about (and listening to) them yesterday. I saw them at First Ave. many years ago. It was one of the weirdest shows I have ever seen actually.

I think that was about 97 for the Happy end of the World tour. There's a song they have where it starts out with a cheerleader chant of P-I-Z-Z-I-C-A-T-O 5! It how I remeber to spell their name correctly!
