Whose voices get you hot?

Who turns you on just based on their singing voice? Doesn't matter what they look like, their gender, age, whatever.

Mine:

Mick Jagger
Prince
David Bowie
Brain Molko
Elvis -older Elvis with his big opera voice horny
Skin -of Skunk Anansie fame
Holly McNarland
George Harrison
Shirley Manson
Heather Small
Iggy Pop

Some of them may sound like odd choices to you, but I likes what I likes. And you?

I get all kinds of shit from my friends for thinking Iggy, Mick, and DB are hot because of the 40-or-so year age gap between me and them. A large part in the attraction is their voices.* Hot is hot. shrug

*That and DB is just fucking gorgeous, no matter his age. razz

I can't say that anyone's voice gets me all bubbly inside. I can't have music on during those special moments. I'd end up singing along instead.

Kim Gordon

Yeah, Kim has a sexy voice.

Generally what I find hot about a vocal is a knowingness in the delivery. Here are some singers who I think project that quality (off the top of my head):

Chrissie Hynde
PJ Harvey
Peaches (although I find her decidedly unsexy)
Cristina Martinez
Ann Magnuson
Justine Frischmann

I also seem to recall that I thought the chick who sang Tricky's "Black Steel" had a hot voice, but that probably had more to do with the combination of her accent and gravelly voice.

I haven't listened to my Boss Hog albums in years. Cristina is one sexy woman. Even if she didn't pose naked for almost every album.

Come to think of it, those chicks in TLC had pretty hot voices (well, Left-eye and T-Boz, anyway - I can't remember what the other one sounds like). Maybe I'm just thinking of the song "This is How It Works". They both just ooze confidence on that and it is H-O-T-T. Perhaps I'm thinking of their personas as well (although I don't find T-Boz attractive).
