... this is more like it. i hear I Feel Love, but it's not overbearing. it's there a lot, but it doesn't wear out its welcome or feel like laziness with its use.

this song kind of reminds me of the Andre Betts tracks from Erotica (Where Life Begins, Waiting, Secret Garden) filtered through the soundtrack to Halloween (the movie).

you can tell this has been remixed. i wasn't thrilled with the clip from the documentary, but i think i prefer it to this one. that one had some energy to it, even if it did sound like an equally-retarded sibling to I'm So Stupid.


and by the way.... these aren't what we call lyrics. they're more like an off-the-cuff nursery rhyme.

i like this a lot. could be a bit more energetic, though, as with most of these songs. they're pretty good, but she really ought to try harder to sell them.

this one.... i'm a bit more tentative. it's merely okay. perhaps that's because of the file quality, but i dunno. i'm not blown away. after hearing Hung Up, i was excited for a highly energetic, upbeat-sounding album. this definitely isn't that. in fact, i'd say Hung Up sounds really out of place here, and is very misleading as a lead-off track.

overall, i like it. i see the ROL comparisons now. it's just going to take some used to it being different than advertised.

Let It Will Be, Push, Isaac, Hung Up, Jump, How High, Forbidden Love and Future Lovers are immediate winners, so i guess i'm sold on more than half of the album, which is kind of surprising considering my track-by-track real-time responses.
