Beck to release a new album in december.... details here.

Thats right, beck coming out in december with the entitled disk "Guerolito" I kid you not..supposibly the entire Guero album remixed.

According to various news sources, Beck will release Guerolito, a remixed version of his latest album, Guero, some time this December. The lineup of knob-twiddlers hasn't been firmed up yet, but is said to include Boards of Canada, Dizzee Rascal, Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys, 8-bit, Röyksopp, Paza, the Dust Brothers' John King (the production team behind Guero and Odelay), French electronic pop duo Octet, and experimental rock act Homelife, among others.

Hot damn. I still spin "Guero" regularly to this day. It'll definitely be an interesting pick up. Thanks for the details!

I hate to be the one to say it, but....good.
Guero was a snoozer, and a few good remixes could've really helped.

I caught him on a french tv show about a month or two ago and he
was simply amazing!

Can't wait for the remixed album! I love the remixes that came
from this album already. Especially The Hell Yes & Broken Drum
remixes.

Remix albums, the scurge of the modern music industry. The same with Special Editions and Greatest Hits albums. I'll be downloading it from a news server but im not being stung for it. On a musical side it will probably be interesting but all the same its the same material being sold twice.

Lots of people seem to really like Black Tambourine. It's not my favorite. I wonder if I'm missing something, it seems like not too much is going on.

For me, It grew on me.. very simplistic song..

And I must say, See'in it live made me like it even more.. he was rippin on the guitar riffs
