i still remember one of my favorite madonna things ever - the two part interview with carrie fisher for rolling stone, back around the 'sex'/'erotica' era, when they were trading drug stories...i remember reading madonna talking about trying extasy and thinking it was hiLARious.

That was when she was hanging out with Tupac a lot. He liked the weed I remember reading an interview with Tupac in Vibe (I think) where he was talking about how Madonna was one of a few people who stayed in contact with him while he was in prison. The same article (or maybe a different one) mentioned her coming out of his dressing room during a Saturday Night Live appearance and her eyes were red from all the smoke in the room.

As far as drugs, the only drug that she's been known to try is weed-nothing wrong with that. Didnt know about her trying X though I really wouldnt put it past her.Other than that, she seems a bit too in control to mess with coke or other serious drugs

I miss her duels with Letterman. There is a very interesting chemistry between them and she was one of the few who would call him on his shit; there was always an exciting, dangerous vibe when she was on the show. If she appears to promote the new record, it will be interesting to see if the "new" Madonna still gives it to Dave.
