Godmusic is nice in a early Peter Gabriel kind of way. Haven't heard the others.

with Cameos By Meshell Ndegeocello, Marc Ribot , Van Dyke Parks, etc...

...I also loved the two earlier albums he put out under his real name, Marc Anthony Thompson; they were on Warner Brothers in the middle and late eighties...both are out of print now,though...it was like a more cutting edge version of Prince and Terence trent Darby, if you can imagine that...they were cult classics , never really got airplay...although when you have songs with titles like "Kate's Bush", that's probaly not too surprising, ...
...his Choclate Genius albums are much more low-key, in comparison...


the other two Choclate Genius albums, Blackmusic and Godmusic...eh...they're OK, I guess.....I liked Blackmusic a little bit more than Godmusic...but the newest one is much better than those, IMO...
