I just watched Pharrel's new video. God, this is a travesty! I have not heard such an idiotic chorus in a long time... Way to go, Pharrel! I also can't help but think Gwen Stefani is doing a great job being just a token white chick in the flick. Sorry guys, but this is just beyond bad. It simply sucks big time.

When I first heard the song on the radio, I picked up on the chorus and thought it was an advert for fast-food.

Yeah, I was expecting a bit more from this. The whole package is wack. The lyrics are lame, the track is boring, the hook sounds like"hmm...lets throw something against the wall and hope it sticks". Nope. Oh, and the video looks like it was done on a commador 64. I honestly dont know who this will appeal to.

He may have produced some great songs for other artists but I think he is way over-rated. There are lots of "producers" who have done better production jobs and not gotten the notice he has gotten. He is talented, but no doubt, some producers are better and deserve some of his "critical" attention.

As for his new song, I have not heard it but from what you guys have said about it..I don't think I will want to hear it.

I'll stick with Inxs "Pretty Vegas" for my new song of the week right now.

Ya know, back around 2000 ish when the Neptunes were the new kids on the scene (Jay-z, Mystical) and all Pharrel did was sing hooks he was intreguing but now the whole "ethnic skater boy" image he is trying to push has become lame. He started poping up in too many videos. Started acting like an unlikly sex symbol and now he is overexposed.
