Sirius Satellite radio is playing a version of "Hung Up" in heavy rotation on it's dance channels. It is a very long, repetitive, and - I hate to say it - tiresome dub. She utters maybe 6 words, like the "Time moves so slowly" line, and the rest of it is anthem dance beats and an annoying melody that sounds like some of the more irritating parts of "Music."
I can only hope that the actual single or album version is not as bad. I listen to it, wanting to like it, but find the best part at the end when the song ends and we hear a click and dial tone. [Edited 10/18/05 16:43pm] | |
