Scott Muni had a friday show THING'S FROM ENGLAND. Anyway, this was in NY. FMU was FORDHAM. They played groups like MARTHA AND THE MUFFINS, BUSH TETRAS, OINGO BOINGO, COSMOPOLITANS, and BLOTTO. Hey, do you remember how the BOTTOM LINE had GREAT PIZZA and BURGERS? BEER my friend was CARLSBERG, MOOSEHEAD, Freaking Lowenbraw. I was flipping thinking bout all that and ST Mark'S Pizza. Remember 99 records anyone? Manic Panic? there was Sam Goody's in KING'S Plaza and check this out they had all these new wave bands. They also had a TITUS OAKS and Zig Zag well there was also like Import albums THE Plasmatics, Plastics, Sex Pistols, Huey Lewis albums. Freaking makes me laugh. There was this group tHe COLORS and THE UNCLE FLOYD SHOW. Had BONJOVI. Get this also In Brooklyn we didn't have cable right??? ARKANSAS had it but for us we had U-68 from LONG ISLAND. Get this they played PRINCE WHY U Wanna Treat Me So Bad and Party-Up...The quality was so FUZZY. I tell you I swear to you there was a contest/trip around his 1986 UTCM time but it was only asvertised once to go to Paris and stuff. None of my Friend's saw it. But , it was FOR REAL! The most annoying /Hilarious thing was they ,no matter what hour it was had PAUL KING, or Paul YOUNG. I would Laugh my ASS OFF. OR JANE CHILD. I Don't Wanna Fall In Love...Ha.. What a Trip! Who remember's Paul Hardcastle? It seems there was an INFLUX of Paul's back in the 80's along with Hall And Oats. Go back and watch the Classic Prince on the 1985 AMA'A and see all the Groups . And MR OUTRAGEOUS RITCHIE!!! What a TRIP!!! I hooked up a VCR and spent my last 500 dollars for a VCR just to tape PRINCE. YES VCR's were 500 dollars and that RCA lasted forever. We paid to fix VCR'S today they are so cheap you get rid and buy new ones. I freaking have Captain Fantastic and Glass Houses on 8 Track. Retro is so COOL!
