I just caught two minutes of "Trapped in the Closet" part 435, WOW, this guy is actually mentioned in the same sentence as Stevie and Marvin in the world or RB. Thats pretty scary, Imagine if Stevie Wonder did 65 parts to Living for the city or something like that, does anyone else see a problem here, besides the fact that the whole premise and the song itself "suck". This is one of the reasons for the demise or "real music", think how RB artists who work hard at getting music out there, think how artists like DWELE, or LYFE or MINT CONDITION or RAPHAEL feel when they cant get played even on BET, but this shit can. Sure its mostly to do with lame ass buying public, but its also radio and videos fault for not rising up and supporting artists. And for those who feel Sales dictate whats good, this last R KELLY cd did not "sell" it shipped BIG numbers but i work in retail and more than 80 percent of it sat on shelves and then got sent back.

I agree. "Trapped in the Closet" is an awful song. The music sounds goofy, the story is ridiculous, and it doesn't even have a nice beat or anything. It has absolutely no redeeming value.

I think R.kelly easily can be placed among the greatest soul artist of the last two decades. I don't care too much for his last album though (his weakest since the debut) and the "Trapped in the closet" series is pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, I think R.Kelly has alot good songs - in fact, I would say his OLDER shit is much better, but it aint like I think he's the greatest best thing to happened to music. "Trapped In the Closet" sounds much better on paper than on the airwaves. It's not a terrible idea but it's so damn boring! The song is very lifeless!

My whole household loves the trapped in the closet songs. I see no problem with any of the songs.
