Does anyone else dig No Doubt's "Hella Good"?

Dayum I like that song. Kinda reminds me of Get Off/The Lubricated Lady - they both have that funky riff that keeps the song going.

Say, what's "Waiting Room" like?

One of the best 5 singles of the last year and a half.

I've been loving this song since the record came out. Starts out with the "Billie Jean" beat and has that synth bass line on overdrive which could be straight off the Time's first album. Not too mention all the cool little 80's synth fills. It's a great song, and one of the best I've heard in years, seriously.

I instantly loved this song when I listened to Rock Steady the first time. It's much better than "Hey Baby".

I like "hella good" a lot, but for me the killer is "making out" it reminds me of garbage but hottest.

I love it! She sounds a little like Madonna, especially in the style of the song.

"Hella Good" is a cool song, but "Making Out" is definitely the best on that album. I think the title track is the worst one, yet it's Gwen's and most people's favorite. Go figure.

Anyway, yeah, Hella Good is awesome. Overall, the most accessible song on there. The bridge is my favorite part, sounds very Princey.

Her band and her album are fantastic. She just keeps getting better all the time. No Doubt is one of the best bands on the scene today. Buy the album.

Anyone hear No Doubt's version of "Heartbreaker"? It should be on an album.

I must be the only one who despises that song, and would rather poke her ear drums out with the dull end of a fork than listen to it...

Yea that's why I love the Neptunes so much, they copy the Prince classic sound from the 80's. I guess Nelle Hooper produced this finished track, adding the distorted overdriven synth bass sound that really makes the song. Cool shit. It's a good funk-rock song like U Got The Look that I wish Prince would pull out again.
