I didn't listen to the radio before 'Thriller' in 1982 so none of them actually take me back to 1980. I do know many of those tracks as recurrents of course.

..I think I remember being a kid watching Prince on "American Bandstand" in Jan 1980..... Life changed after that moment.

oh shit, there's lots of memories in that list.. some more weird ones (Flying Lizards...) some guilty pleasures from the past (Ann Murray, Dan Fogelberg, Neil Diamond... hey, I was not even 15 then ) and some all time faves I stil enjoy to this day (Ray Goodman & Brown, Sugarhill Gang, Queen, O'Jays, Billy Preston & Syreeta etc. etc. etc....)

and also thanks for bringing "Him" and Rupert Holmes back into my memory, always enjoyed this guy (where is he now?)
