Hung Up is #1 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Dance chart. Basically the dub mix is so popular that without an offical single release or offical mixes at clubs Hung Up is primed to break into the Dance charts. Most are predicting Madonna's 34th dance #1.

is there a known track length for the radio version of Hung Up? i just found one called "radio version" and it sounds real and complete and it's about 3:25. good quality and sounds as official as i've heard so far. anyone know what the official length of the radio edit is?

So the single is good? I have only heard like what ever was on the commercial...and on her site. Someone passed off to me a 1.23 sec sample of the song cut up with slower and faster versions all chopped up into on piece. I have heard "remixes" but they don't sound like remixes to me.

Where/when will I be able to hear this next week? Is the video and song premireing at the same time? I wanna set the vcr and get it as I'll probably be at work.

Anyways along the lines of what Vinny was saying is there any chance of strong radio airplay as there is few pop oriented stations.

Because airplay is the key to charting high.

This is a shoe in #1 hit in the UK though.

I like it a lot. The only problem with it is possibly the edit. I remember hearing the motorola leak and I don't remember it getting to the chorus so quickly. The song is great, though. It will be a huge dance hit. Mainstream? I don't think so.

I think it's her best single since Ray of Light easily. I agree that it's a little reigned-in sounding...it'll sound even better in extended mixes.

I think US hit potential is all going to depend on the video. If she's able to connect with a video that plays against her foxhunt makeover, it'll sell. If there's even a trace of that, it'll sink because it just doesn't fit the vibe of the song.
